Excel 3  – $30

Wednesday, September 17 at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

This class will build upon formatting concepts introduced in Excel 1 and calculation concepts introduced in Excel 2. Tips for managing and printing large worksheets or printing will be discussed.

Excel 4  – $30

Creating More Advanced Spreadsheets – This class will introduce advance spreadsheet data tools and techniques.

Applying QuickBooks (4 Part Series) – $125

Creating a Flyer – this class is appropriate for those who: A) are new to word processing or B) may have used an earlier version of Word or WordPerfect but want to become familiarized with the new environment of Word 2007.

Word 2  – $30

Formatting Professional and Academic Documents – This class gives us an opportunity to deal with longer documents, which would require formatting such as headers and footers, page numbering, and editing tools such as cut and paste.

Word 3  – $30

Wednesday, November 19 at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Professional Letter and Mail Merge – This class focuses on additional formatting and tools commonly used in the business environment.

Outlook  – $30

Wednesday, December 03 at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Guided tour of the most commonly used components of Outlook, such as sending/receiving emails, calendar, contacts and tasks.

Publisher  – $30

Wednesday, December 10 at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Publisher is an entry level desktop publishing software. With its many standard and customizable templates for business cards, flyers, newsletters and brochures.

This new set of courses will guide you through the basics of using various websites to interact with other users to network and to perpetuate your professional online image. Intro to Social Media will provide an overview of various social mediums with an opportunity to set up accounts on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Each of the other series will focus more in detail on Facebook,  LinkedIn and Twitter;  how to create your professional profile and use them to find jobs, locate possible employers and network. Register for all 4 classes or pick a single class.

Prerequisites: If opting to register for a single class (Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter), must have online account set up before attending class. NOTE: Intro to Social Media will teach you how to set up online accounts.

MS Office Suite Integration (2 Part Series) – $60

This course is an ideal supplement to the computer classes designed by Women At Work. Following the computer workshop series, this course pulls it all together in a two (2) part series by integrating Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Prerequisites: Must have completed Women At Work Microsoft Office Suite classes or proficient with all of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
