Job hunting is tough enough, but there are people and organizations that want to take advantage of you during your career efforts. Your personal information, intellectual property, money, and more can be at risk during all aspects of your job hunt.

The objectives of this presentation are to make you aware of common scams, show you how to identify questionable job practices, and tell you what to do if you are the victim of a fraudulent job.

Presenter Tom Lenzo has seen many fraudulent jobs during a career working in training, organizational development, technology, and security. He is an identity theft investigator (volunteer) with the Pasadena Police Department, and is a member of the FBI’s InfraGard program, specializing in cybercrime.

Women at Work invites you to join us for “Days of Healing”, a 3-Day Intensive Workshop where you will learn to
–  Strengthen inner resources
–  Identify the roots of current problems
–  Work on resolving trauma
–  Prepare for future success

This is a new, FREE, experimental project that combines EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a trauma treatment proven effective through extensive research, and various Energy Psychology and body centered techniques.

The workshop will take place Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, October 1 – 3 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm in Pasadena. Space is limited, as it will be a small group. The group will be led by Linda Goodman Pillsbury, LCSW, Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant. Linda has worked in community mental health, drug and alcohol treatment, a homeless shelter and in private practice.

On Tuesday, September 23 at noon, there will be a 1 – hour information session. The project will be discussed, you can ask questions and meet Linda. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP so we can be sure and have your lunch!
