The way we look for employment has changed. The workforce opportunities are continually changing. How to prepare yourself for finding the right job as well as understanding labor market information is what speaker Nancy Delira of the South Bay Workforce Investment Board will discuss at the next Career Club on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Come learn the knowledge and information needed to find employment in today’s ever changing global workforce.

Special Projects Development Coordinator/ Private Consultant Nancy Delira has worked in the Workforce Development Occupation for her entire career.  She has worked as job coach, program coordinator, program manager, director, senior associate dean and Workforce development regional director.

Women At Work invites you to save the date for our upcoming Annual Gala, “Reaching For The Stars,” at the University Club in Pasadena. Watch this space for ticket information.

Awards will be presented to outstanding women leaders in the community for their long-time support of Women At Work, their philanthropy and trail blazing careers. Honorary Chair Peggy Phelps and Event Emcee Jan Sanders will welcome honorees Phyllis Currie, Sandra Burton Greenstein and Jane Templin. The gala highlights also include the presentation of the Employer of the Year award to Kaiser Permanente.

The proceeds from the Gala will support our mission of helping individuals reach their full employment and earnings potential in a supportive environment.
