This website offers many resources including a Career Center offering excellent articles and resources for job hunting, training for older workers, resume preparation, polishing interview techniques, etc.  Excellent services for the older worker.

VIDEO WEBSITES

iTunesU is a section of Apple’s iTunes music store devoted to higher education featuring more than 150 colleges and universities.  There is free downloadable content that may be helpful in updating your knowledge of relevant subjects related to your desired employment.

You Tube is a video sharing website.  There is a lot of information on how to apply and prepare for getting a job.  Valuable, especially if you’ve been out of the workforce for awhile.

TED (technology, entertainment, design) is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less) covering a wide range of ideas. There are many inspiring stories that are told.  For individuals who may be competing for a leadership position hearing someone speak about an experience that might prompt a memory and help you recall a meaningful and impressive example.
